Pipecleaner flowers

I didn't like the fresh flowers in the shop so I made these bright flowers from crafting pipecleaners and they look great!

Baby...

This is a re-work of an illustration I used for a 'New Baby' card and I'm pleased with it. Why do newborn baby cards always feature 'white babies'? Does this mean that people from ethnicities other than caucasian don't send baby cards because there aren't any for sale on the High Street?

Birds

My contribution to the Being Creative project for April - inspired by a lovely crocheted bird mobile I saw in another of my Flickr groups and the basic pattern is here Attic24

I did my own thing with the wing and crocheted a chain, gathered it and stitched down - also the beak is made from felt as I couldn't get the crocheted one to look right...

I used beads from my much-loved flipflops - they've travelled around a bit to some lovely places like Turkey, Egypt and Fiji and they are worn-out!

Being Creative project

I guess all my work is creative and I am happy to share it - hence joining Julia Crossland's 'Being Creative' project.  I dipped into the theme pool and am going with 'flowers' this month! Here is something I drew using Illustrator......I'm going to miss the daffodils this year.
